Located halfway between Sharm el Sheikh in the south and Nuweiba in the north, Dahab is one of the most attractive beach resorts in South Sinai, famed for its fine golden sands and swaying palms. On El Qura, Dahab's southern bay is the town's administrative center. To the north, sprawling across Ghazala Bay is the Bedouin village of El Assalah, which offers a unique collection of shops and restaurants with a distinctly bohemian feel. A new asphalt road connects the village to the Blue Hole, a famous diving/snorkeling site. Thanks to its strong coastal winds, Dahab is an excellent place for water sports and a perfect location for windsurfing.
